ABOUT ME

The Roots

Madison Vermilya was born on January 13, 1995. She was raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Tyler School of Art, Temple University, 2017 with a BFA Photography and a Minor in Busines Studies. She interned with the Mural Arts Program in 2015, was a Gallery Assistant at the Crane Arts Center, has volunteered at the Village of Arts and Humanities in 2015 as well. She worked as a Photography Lab Assistant from 2015 - 2017. She interned as a Studio Assistant for Fine Artist, Martha Madigan. in 2016. She spent her last semester of school in the Fall 2017 studying in Rome, Italy. After graduating, she worked at an Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Center conducting Art Therapy Groups and working in admissions. She is currently working as Shop Manager & Creative Director at a local shop in Fairfax, VA, Ground Gaia, a place for bringing physical, mental & spiritual wellness into the world. She continues to take Freelance commission work & continue her own practice.
